Henri Champliau is a family winery located in Mercurey, in the heart of the Côte Chalonnaise region of Burgundy. Founded by Alexandre GRAFFARD, grandson of Henri Champliau, we offer Crémant de Bourgogne, made in the traditional method from the noble grape varieties Pinot Noir & Chardonnay. We also offer a 'Signatures' range to the same high-quality standards of our winery.

“Our grandfather was a man who was passionate about his region and the riches that it offers us. He loved fine food and great wines and owned vineyards in Mercurey, taking the time to pass on this passion to us, always with his rather mischievous and thoughtful character.

Initiated as a private sommelier as soon as I was 7 years old, I have kept this approach to the world of wine and this absolute admiration for the terroir and craftsmanship of Burgundy.

In order to achieve this result, our quality demands extend to the selection for the blends, respect for the time spent maturing in the cellar and using precise quantities for the “dosage”.

A beautiful pale pink robe, a delicate nose of white flowers and red fruits, a precise and intense mouth. Dominating the blend, Pinot Noir brings elegance and power, while the freshness of Chardonnay and the delicacy of Gamay complete the balance of this cuvée.
